Terms of use
Effective 7 October 2026
These terms apply to the Duit Tracker app ("the app"), made by the Duit Tracker Dev Team ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. Contact: hello@duittracker.my.
1. What Duit Tracker is
Duit Tracker is a personal tool for recording and understanding your own income and spending. It is not a bank, does not move money, and does not give financial, tax or investment advice. Totals, budgets, projections and AI suggestions are estimates to help you; check important figures with your bank.
2. Your data
Your ledger is stored on your phone. You are responsible for keeping backups; Duit Tracker offers Android backup, Google Drive backup and backup files to help. How we handle data is described in our privacy policy.
3. Auto Capture and AI
Auto Capture depends on the notifications your banks and e-wallets send, which can change without notice, so some payments may be missed or read incorrectly. AI suggestions can be wrong. Review captured items before relying on them.
4. Free and Duit Pro
- The free version includes 20 AI categorisations a month, 1 budget and 3 subscriptions or recurring items.
- Duit Pro removes those limits (AI has a daily fair-use limit) and adds extra insights. Prices are shown in the app before you buy; in Malaysia they are RM5.90 a month or RM59.90 a year.
- Free trial: new subscribers may get a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period through your Google Play account unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Cancelling: cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy.
- If Pro ends, nothing is deleted: extra budgets and subscriptions stay visible but paused.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or its services, including trying to get around the AI allowance, overload our servers, or access other people's data.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Duit Tracker running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or end features; if a paid feature is removed we'll tell you in the app and Google Play's refund options apply.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Duit Tracker is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Malaysian consumer law that can't be limited.
8. Ending use
You can stop using Duit Tracker and delete your account at any time (see the account deletion page).
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will also be shown in the app.
